Through our professional staff of counselors, social workers and recreation therapists we are one of the only organizations that supports not just the veteran, but the whole family, including caregivers, to create multigenerational change toward positive healthy habits for at-risk military families.

Combat Veterans Cowboy Up
Colorado

Combat Veterans Cowboy Up is a non-profit organization that uses Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) to successfully treat the many psychological injuries that happen to men and women who have returned from the battlefields.

Wounded Warrior USA,

We are happy to provide professional outfitting support to those that have sacrificed since August 10, 2010. Over 700 Rehabilitating Active Duty Wounded Warriors and Gold Star Families that have had the opportunity to participate in an outdoor fishing and picnic experience in the Rocky Mountain Region.

AllHealth network is a nonprofit mental health organization providing counseling, psychiatry, crisis services, substance use treatment, and more. We accept Medicaid and commercial insurance plans.

Behavioral Health Services

A premier behavioral health treatment center for the Colorado Springs area, Family Care Center offers services for both children and adults and specializes in services for military families and veterans. We take most major insurances except Medicaid.

University of Denver Strum Specialty in Military Psychology

The Sturm Family Foundation and the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Professional Psychology (GSPP) partnered in 2015 to create an academic and training specialty to serve the military and Veteran population and to address the increased need for psychologists with this specialty knowledge.
